Harbor & Wild was created for families who know, deep down, that time is moving faster than they’d like.
For the moms watching their children change right before their eyes.
For the families living full, imperfect, joyful lives who want to remember this season as it truly felt.
We believe family life is both a safe harbor and a little bit wild.
Calm and chaotic. Tender and loud. Fleeting and deeply meaningful.
Our role is simple: to hold space for all of it; and preserve it before it slips away.
Harbor & Wild is a sister brand of TuBelle Photography, a family photography studio founded in Northern Virginia with the same heart and intention behind everything we do here.
This brand was born when one of my long-time associate photographers, Kiah, moved back home to New Hampshire. Rather than letting geography be the end of something meaningful, we saw an opportunity to create something rooted: a way to serve Seacoast families with the same care, calm, and connection-first approach that families have trusted for years.
Harbor & Wild is a continuation.
A familiar heart, shaped for a place that values home, tradition, and presence.
They’re the in-between moments.
The way your child reaches for your hand.
The laughter that happens when nothing goes as planned.
The quiet closeness that feels ordinary now; but won’t always be.
Real connection, not perfect poses
Moments that feel natural
Calm guidance without pressure
Letting kids be kids
Tender moments are welcome here. So are big feelings, wandering feet, and the beautifully unpredictable nature of childhood.
You don’t need your family to behave, perform, or be anything other than yourselves.
Your life doesn’t need to be quieter or more polished to be worth remembering.
Belle is a mom and a memory-keeper at heart, and the founder behind Harbor & Wild.
Motherhood reshaped the way she sees time: how quickly seasons come and go, and how the days can feel long while the years feel impossibly short. That perspective is why Harbor & Wild focuses on documenting the now; not the polished version of family life, but the real one.
Belle believes photos grow more valuable with time. That what feels ordinary today will one day feel sacred. And that moms deserve to be in the photos too… not someday, but now.
That belief quietly guides every part of the Harbor & Wild experience.

Kiah is the photographer behind Harbor & Wild sessions here in New Hampshire.
She was born and raised in New Hampshire’s Seacoast region and spent most of her life there before returning home to raise her own family.
Now, she photographs families in the very place that shaped her: documenting childhood in the same coastal towns, neighborhoods, and everyday spaces she knows so well.
As a mom herself, Kiah approaches sessions with patience, warmth, and a deep respect for childhood as it is: playful, emotional, and wonderfully unpredictable. She photographs families the same way she would want her own photographed: honest, gentle, and with heart.
While Belle guides the vision and experience behind Harbor & Wild, Kiah brings it to life locally; with care, intention, and a shared belief that nothing needs to be perfect to be meaningful.

"I will cherish these photos and this time of life forever."
This was my first time working with a professional photographer, and throughout the experience, I felt seen and cared for. She took the time to really get to know me and my family. Photographing a toddler and a baby isn’t easy, but the experience was calm and thoughtful throughout. I loved all our photos.

You don’t need to have everything figured out.
You don’t need to wait for a “better” season.
And you don’t need to worry about things being perfect.
You’re already living something worth remembering.
Harbor & Wild exists to help you hold onto it.
If you’ve been thinking about family photos, but waiting for things to feel easier, quieter, or more put together; this is your reminder that you don’t have to.
Your family doesn’t need to be in a different season to be worth remembering.
When you’re ready, we’d love to walk you through what working together looks like.
